[For once, Ky wasn't wearing his old dress uniform to a formal restaurant -- he was instead wearing a crisp suit. He was hoping that this night would be special for both him and his girlfriend, as the ring box sitting in his right pocket could attest, so he wanted to make a more lasting impression for her.

Of course, he was also nervous. But he didn't appear to be. He looked as calm and in control as ever, and only someone who knew him well enough to know what signs to look for could tell that he wasn't. If he focused on the answer he wanted, he felt he could get through the night, though, and that's what he was doing as he opened the door to the restaurant and held it open for his girlfriend to walk through.]
