[But of course.

A mixed bath was a new situation for Ky. He'd never shared a bath with any woman before. And yet, here they were, doing it without even wearing swimsuits.

Once Ky gets his clothes off and gathers his toiletries, he walks into the bath...then pauses. Roman baths are something Ky's not sure he'll ever get used to. And even then, Nero's bath puts the rest of them to shame. After all, how many baths have rose petals floating on the water's surface?

Ky also knows that he isn't the first person to enter. Nero is already in the water somewhere. Instinctively, Ky moves his towel to cover his nether region, then looks over to where the woman he loves is before slowly sliding into the water.]

[ Having already washed herself so as to enjoy the bath fully, Nero is as relaxed as can be. The heat of the water melts away all the soreness in her body, and the fresh scent of the roses leaves every breath more invigorating than the last. As he enters the bath, her eyes slip open and she waves her fingers to beckon him closer. ]

Ky, you needn't be shy! Though it's spacious, I'll not criticize you for wanting to stay close to me. Perish the thought. [ Were she standing, her hands would certainly be on her hips. As it is, they stay in her lap so she doesn't have to move and risk losing a moment of the heat sinking into her tired muscles. ] Now then, tell me if this bath suits your tastes or not. I think it perfectly fine myself, but I'm curious as to your take on it.

[It's probably a good thing Nero isn't standing up. Getting an eyeful of her bare breasts so suddenly would probably send Ky into meltdown.

As it is, Ky takes a deep breath and fluidly slides into the water, exhaling loudly as he does. Once in the water, he wades over to Nero.]

Well...the water feels quite nice, that's for certain. The smell is pleasant, too. I can't say I've ever been in a bath so, er...decorated by rose petals, though.

Is that so? Then I'm sad to say you've never truly lived! [ As soon as he's close enough, she reaches out to take his hand to further guide him to sit beside her. He seems tense to her eyes, and that simply won't do. If he's to share a bath with her, he must emerge as invigorated as a butterfly from its cocoon! ] I jest, but to bathe with roses is the only way to bathe! The freshness of their scent doesn't just sink into the water but into the core of one's very being! There's no need for any special perfumes or colognes when you bathe in such a manner.

["Tense" is a pretty good way of describing Ky's current mood. He does take Nero's hand, though, and sits down right next to her.]

I suppose I shall see soon enough, then.

[He then forces himself to take a deep breath.]

As it is, I can already feel the soreness shrinking away. The heat is doing its job quite well, I must say.

[Indeed, it did seem like Ky had a slightly better range of motion than he did before entering the bath.]

[ As he speaks, she nods emphatically in delight and gives his hand a squeeze. ]

But of course! Why else do you think I am the very picture of laidback relaxation? [ Even though she very much isn't, but that's not the point at the moment. ] So please, sit back and banish any worry or care you might have!

["Nero" and "relaxed" should never be in the same sentence. She's far too bombastic to be anything even approaching relaxation. But Ky doesn't say anything about that. He just sits next to the woman he loves in the bath and lets the water soak his skin.]

Yes. I shall. And now, I feel I can stay like this next to you.

[To further emphasize his point, he wraps his arm around her waist.]
