[Maybe you summoned him intentionally. Maybe you summoned him by accident, and he appeared out of nowhere and fought off an impending opponent. But now, there's a lull. The tall man in the white armor turns to you, and speaks to you directly.]

I ask of you. Are you my Master?

[You are Saber's Master. You're in an empty room, and you've just called for your Servant. He materializes.]

You wished to speak with me, Master?

[You're enemies with Gawain's Master, but you're not set to fight just yet. Before then, Gawain has come to speak.]

At ease. I'm not here to take your life. I wish to speak with you now, while time remains with us.

[The time for words is gone. It's time to fight. Gawain assumes his fighting stance.]

Come at me with all of your strength if you hope to survive!

[ Timey-wimey shit. Rin's already had a female Saber once before in her life time, so when she finally acquires a Saber by her own summoning technique, she lets out a girly squeal of excitement. ]

I DID IT!! I have finally summoned a Saber!!

[Whatever kind of response Gawain was expecting, this was not it.]

"Finally?" Have you summoned a Servant in the past?

Of course I have! I'm sort of a big name around these parts. As Fuyuki City is my charge, it's only appropriate I acquire the best Servant to support me.

But how would that be possible? The Holy Grail War is set to occur only once every five decades.

[gandere]

[ It's Nasu, I ain't gotta explain shit. ]

That would be correct, but something's wrong. For some reason that I've yet to figure out yet, this war is taking place only a year after the last one. I was going to head to London, but then I received word that I needed to stay here for a bit longer.

Well, I knew what that meant and as if I was going to allow another opportunity to slip on by!

[London. A shame. He would have liked to have seen his homeland in this day and age.]

...Then it is fortuitous that I was summoned by the supervisor of this city. Master, I shall serve as the blade that will claim the Grail and smite any who think otherwise.

[ Sorry bro. Go for the Rin route and she might keep him around as a familiar ;) ]

You're definitely a lot nicer than my last summoned Servant. He was a real jerk.. but I didn't mind that too much. It's just nice to have someone who won't be giving me any trouble. Speaking of, will you tell me of your true identity? I need to know who I have brought in as my champion of war.

Of course, Master. The Servant you have summoned is none other than the Knight of the Sun, Sir Gawain.

Sir Gawain, ah one of the knights of King Arthur, right? That's.. kind of impressive really. I wonder if it was because of my pact with her in the past that you're now mine.

[championofthesun]

You...you made a contract with my king?!

[gandere]

Right, right. I did. I most certainly did. She was pretty amazing and all.

[ Li Shuwen is known for being concealed most of the time, but since this is Gawain, the Servant of his Master's brother, he will his presence know for now. ]

Oh? Enlighten me then, Gawain. What would you seek to speak with someone such as myself?

To begin with, I am aware that our Masters have arranged an outcome for our Elimination Battle, as, I am sure, are you, too. However, I want to make certain that our fight is anything but a farce. When we battle, I want you to put forth all of your effort against me.

[ He's quite aware of his end, yet Li Shuwen laughs a bit. ]

You speak the truth about our battle. The outcome might have been decided, but it is not in my nature to not give it all. Though I'm quite certain that Julius has other plans for me and himself.

Then force him to expend a Command Spell if it comes to that, although I do not expect it to be a necessary action to ensure my Master's victory.

This is the path I chose to walk, either that being facing you in battle or with the Command Spell, Gawain. [ And yet he sounds quite calm about this. ]

You devotion is kind of admirable. [ Yet he does sound if there's something else in his words. ]

I am not one to judge your decisions, Gawain. The path you decide to walk in is up to you, not holding any regrets in it. But do not walk into the mistakes of the past.

I know that. It is because of the mistakes of my past that I walk the path I currently follow.

Such devotion can even blind the brightest man. After all, laws control the lesser man. Right conduct controls the greater one.

That may be so, but my own personal vendettas brought about the destruction of the kingdom I had so loved and the king to whom I had sworn my loyalty. And only a fool would follow the same path and expect different results.

Only fool would think that all the paths are the same.

I have enough discretion to judge how different individual paths are.

But you are quite aware of how different they are, despite being the same person. What you live and think depending on the situation is what makes them unique, no matter how similar they are.

Let's just say that this is my first time trying this out. It's interesting what risks I take to seek out coveted things.

[A thief? Great. Unfortunately, he'd promised himself to devote himself to his new Master, and so...]

[The only thing Saber has for a response is to send a sharp glare. She takes orders from no one.]

And what more do you seek by requesting audience with me? You've crossed blades with me, insulted me in front of my Master, and even went as far as to insult Master herself. If you wish to slander me further, it shall fall on deaf ears until I can retort with the edge of my blade in the Elimination Round.

You believe that I would go to this time and effort just to levy more insults at you? I would ask what sort of man you would take me for, but I suspect that I would be better off not asking.

[She folds her arms across her chest, and leans back on the wall behind her.]

[... It's Leo's Servant. Hakuno couldn't even blink before he appeared in front of her. What could he possibly want with her, when the Elimination Round is almost here?

Even though he says he means no harm, she couldn't help but stay apprehensive. She stands there stiffly, and her throat feels so tight that she can't even speak. Even breathing seemed to be difficult. Might as well just listen to what he has to say if she's going to stand there like an idiot.]

[Gawain could sense the girl's apprehensiveness. To that end, he took Galatine out...and threw it behind him. He couldn't see where it landed.]

I am now unarmed. I hope this proves my intentions.

[She didn't expect that sort of move. Hakuno blinks, dumbfounded as she hears the echoing clang of Galantine landing somewhere in the vast hall behind Gawain.

Though she is still slightly nervous by the presence he naturally gives as a Servant, she manages to give a nod. She's ready to listen.]
