She giggles, hopefully only ruining to srs adult look she's going for a little.

"I try," she says, and offers him her hand. "D'you want to come in for a second, or head right out?"

Asemu immediately extended his free hand to meet hers. He grasped it in his grip and brought it to his lips to kiss it. That sort of thing isn't something he does often, but it's by no means foreign to him. And seeing his girlfriend look completely breathtaking, he thought it was only right to be a perfect gentleman, or as close to one as he could be.

"Maybe a minute or two. I do have a thing to give you first." Not the ring in his pocket, though. Not yet. That would wait until later. Instead, he pulled his other hand out from behind his back and offered Rise a beautiful bouquet of red roses. "For you."

"You are laying it on thick tonight and I love it," Rise says, blushing hard enough to cover most of her face. She takes the roses and turns, heading into her apartment to look for a vase. "Come in for a sec. I sent the girls to go have a scavenger hunt at the habitat. And I think I got most of the fur off the couch..."

"Good. That's what I wanted." Of course, Asemu had a huge reason to butter Rise up, but he also enjoyed making her happy and feel loved. It made her even more lovely than she already was.

Upon Rise's invitation, he stepped inside and closed the door behind him. He walked over to the couch, and thanks to Rise's remarks, looked it over closely before sitting down. He didn't take his shoes off, though, since they'd be leaving soon enough anyway -- and it's not like he got them dirty. That would have required him to walk to Rise's place.

Rise busies herself in the kitchen area - conveniently behind the couch so she can take a couple of deep breaths and get her excitement under control out of Asemu's line of sight - for a few minutes, looking for and filling a vase.

"So where are we headed?" she asks as she finishes up. "Or is that a surprise?"

Asemu turned his head back toward the kitchen area and smiled. This time, he looked more mischievous than anything.

"That's a surprise. You'll see when we get there."

He had a reason for that. There's a certain sentimental value for the two of them at the place he picked.

"Hmhm," Rise says, more sophisticated in her giggling at Asemu than she usually is as she saunters back out of the kitchen. "And how are we getting there, out of curiosity?"

Asemu's expression didn't fade. He had this all planned out, and he was sure Rise would enjoy it.

"Guess."

"Hee, you always know what I'm looking for," she says as she leans over the back of the couch and wraps her arms around him. "What are we waiting for, then?"

Asemu dipped down and lifted Rise in his arms, and shifted her around until she was resting bridal style. Perhaps fitting, given the question he was planning on asking her later that evening.

"Beats me. Let's go."

Asemu then walked out the door, crouched, then leaped into the air, propelling the two of them into the sky. He flew along at a casual speed, clearly not looking to rush. Probably for the best, as it would keep them from suffering from watery eyes.
