Athrun did his best not to look when Sonico bent over. He'd probably short-circuit if he did, with that bikini top she's wearing.

"Do we have any cola in there? I think that's what I'd like right now."

"Sure." Sonico smiles and brings two bottles of cola, passing one to him. As she opens her own, beads of water drop down onto her chest, but she ignores that just to enjoy the cool, sweet drink. "It's lovely out here. I'm so glad we came."

Athrun accepted his cola happily and popped his bottle open. However, he ended up taking notice of Sonico's chest, drops of water glistening on it. Immediately he whipped his head away, hoping against hope that his cheeks weren't red. Immediately he stuffed the mouth of the bottle into his own mouth and downed a mouthful of soft drink.

Sonico licked her lips when she was done and put the bottle back. Then she settled back on her chair with a happy sigh of relief. "This is perfect, Athrun. I'm so glad we decided to come here... It's good to relax with you."

"I agree. I'm glad, too."

Athrun looked back over at Sonico and smiled warmly at her. Then, he reached his hand out toward her for her to take. They were close enough for it.

Sonico slipped her hand into his comfortably, giving it a small squeeze. With her free hand she lifts her sunglasses so that she can look at him properly while she smiled, then lowered them again as she lay back. "It's good to be so relaxed..."

"It is. I never get the chance to do things like this as much as I should."

Athrun sat back in his chair. "Even better is being able to do it with you. I love spending time with you like this."

Sonico laughed softly and smiled as she lay back, then sighed happily in relief. "We should have fun like this more often... It feels so good being here, doesn't it?"

"It does. I actually feel so comfortable I'm feeling sleepy."

Sure enough, Athrun's eyes were about halfway closed at that point. The warmth of the sun along with the refreshing sea breeze left him feeling very content.

Sonico took her hand out of his, instead letting her fingers run gently up and down his arm. "Why don't you let yourself have a nice nap? I can wake you up soon, if you like."

"Well...if that's all right with you, then I suppose I could."

Athrun dug into his own bag for a moment and pulled out his own sunglasses. He slid them on and leaned back into his chair, letting Sonico continue to freely run her fingers along his arm. The sunglasses were too dark to tell if his eyes were really closed, but it was a likely possibility.

While Athrun appeared to be sleeping, Sonico would listen to her music, eventually stopping stroking his arm in case she woke him. When it did finally come time to rouse him from his nap, Sonico got up from her chair and leaned over his to kiss his forehead, "Time to wake up.."

Athrun stirred at the kiss. He opened his eyes and found himself rubbing his froehead, where Sonico had kissed him. He then removes his sunglasses.

"How long did I sleep?"

Seeing Athrun rub his forehead where she'd kissed him makes her giggle - rather than be offended, she just is amused that maybe he doesn't realise why he's rubbing there.

"Not too long. About an hour. I would have woken you sooner, but you were pretty deeply asleep." Sonico smiles again, and this time as she leans over him, her kiss aims for his lips instead.

Athrun remained still as Sonico went in to kiss him. When she did, he kissed her right back. Once they broke, he smiled.

"I think I like having you wake me up."

Sonico giggles and touches her fingers through his hair, "Mmm. Maybe I should encourage you to nap more often." Then she leans in for a quicker, more playful kiss.

Athrun accepted that kiss, as well, kissing back just as much.

"How long are we keeping this up?" Really, he could stay here all day getting touched and kissed by his beautiful girlfriend.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Am I boring you?" Sonico pouted her lips as she teased, then smiled as she stood up straight again, looking out to the water. "Did you wanna go swim for a bit now?"

"Not at all." When Sonico stood up, Athrun lifted his chair back to an upright position.

He looked out at the sea. "Would you like to? Because I'm game if you are."

"Sure. Why not?" Sonico removed her sunglasses and placed them down on her chair, then she started walking slowly over the sand, getting faster the closer that she got to the water edge, stopping before going in.

Athrun managed to catch up to Sonico quickly enough, then matched her pace. When she stopped, though, he ended up going right past. Surprised, he turned around.

"What's the matter?"

Sonico giggled at the edge of the water and slowly stepped into the sea. "I'm okay! Just testing the water." Realising it wasn't too cold, Sonico skipped into the sea, laughing as she catches up to him.

Athrun reached out for Sonico as she caught up to him, aiming to grab her hand to pull her in close. "You don't have to worry. Around here, the water is just fine."
