Xander was extremely well aware of how busy he had been, and how little time he had been spending with his wife. Intent on fixing that, he forced himself to stop when bath time came around, and headed toward the master bathroom. What he was working on could wait; on the other hand, he'd made Leanne wait long enough.

So, when Leanne closes her eyes, the door to the bathroom opens and shuts. Standing there is Xander, clad in only a bathrobe.

"My apologies for being late. I wish you hadn't had to start without me."

She blinks as she hears the bathroom door open and close. Her ears wiggled as she hears his voice and she goes to open her eyes at once, and chirps and cheeps escape her lips.

"Darling!" So happy that he is joining her. She stands up, smiling as brightly as she can. "It's okay. You have a entire kingdom looking up to you."

So happy right now. If the joy emitting from her is any indicator.

"Come in and join me!"

Xander smiled in reaction. Leanne's happiness was contagious.

"That's right, I am. And you are a part of that. A very important part, I might add."

Xander then took a moment to turn to a nearby hook. He shed his bathrobe, then hung it on the hook before lowering himself into the bath. Once in the water, he sat down on the built-in seat running along the side of the bath.

"Ahh... This feels wonderful after such a long day." He closed his eyes and allowed his head to tilt back as he let himself soak in the warm water.
