And here we go with yet another shipping post! The rules are simple. Because Meer was easily tricked by Durandal ... because Meer thought someone finally needed her.

...Meer, I wouldn't go to this extent to be with someone, especially in this kind of setting, unless I genuinely loved them. Pity has absolutely nothing to do with the way I've treated you.

[ Meer was being a girl. Once in a while, girls usually find something to be insecure about with a guy she loves very much.

But, congratulations, Athrun. That was exactly what she wanted to hear. Quite happy and content again, she wraps her arms around him and kisses him on the lips. ]

[Well, Athrun isn't going to say no to that. He tightens his arms around her and kisses back lovingly.]
